Mary Hazel Carrender, age 84, Harrodsburg, died Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born September 9, 1928 in Monticello, KY, she was the daughter of the late John and Nannie (Russell) Sexton. She was a retired retail clerk.
Survivors include: three daughters, Carol (Lloyd) Hutto of TN, Maryanne Carrender of FL, Pam (Mike) Parkin of FL; and two sons, Barry (Kathy) Carrender of Harrodsburg, KY, Jerry (Jodie) Carrender of Lawrenceburg, KY; two brothers, Jack (Joanne) Sexton of Danville, KY, Kenneth (Stella) Sexton of Monticello, KY; eleven grandchildren & fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Ronnie and Greg Carrender, and by two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 18 at the Marvin Hicks Funeral Home, Monticello, KY, with burial will be in the Elks Spring Cemetery, Monticello.
Visitation 5 - 8 PM Wed. at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg.
