Edith Hawkins, age 85, Harrodsburg, widow of Joe T. Hawkins, died Monday, October 29, 2012, in Harrodsburg, KY.
Born May 16, 1927 in Springfield, KY, she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Christine (Bottom) Devine. She was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one son, Joe (Barbara) Hawkins of Harrodsburg; two grandsons, Joe Scott Hawkins and David Clinton Hawkins, one great grandson, Hunter Blake Hawkins.
Funeral services will be 1 PM, Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Doug Wesley. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: David C. Hawkins, David Devine, Joe Scott Hawkins, Larry Devine, Hunter Hawkins, and Clinton Peavler.
Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
