William Arvin "Sonny" Poulter, age 79, Salvisa, widower of Bonnie Anderson Poulter, died Sunday, November 18, 2012, at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born April 23, 1933 in Mercer County, KY, he was the son of the late Arvin Morris and Stella Frances (Johnson) Poulter. He served in the Navy and was a retired Joseph E. Seagrams & Sons employee and a member of the Ebenezer Church of Christ.
Survivors include: two daughters: Karen (Jay) Hackett of Salvisa, KY, Rhonda Gayle Goff of Frankfort, KY; and one son: Alex (Deborah) Poulter of Lexington, KY; one sister: Mary P. (Larry) Trisler of Salvisa, KY; Six Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 20 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John Kesel. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa.
Pallbearers are: Richard Alex Poulter, Spencer Preston Poulter, Timothy Micah Goff, Taylor Hackett, Chad Trisler, Tim Wells. Honorary Bearers will be: Bethany Anne Poulter, Jessica P. Rice, Allen Montgomery and Rook Club Friends.
Visitation will be 4-8 PM, Monday, November 19 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Christian Life Center or Ebenezer Cemetery Fund.
