Obituary of Terry A. Campbell

Terry A. Campbell, 75, died Saturday, November 17, 2012 after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Deanna (Wells) Campbell; two sons, Terry A. Campbell, Jr. and wife Renee; Shane Campbell and wife Aleksandra, both of Clinton, MA; daughter, Lori Egbert husband Larry Troitino of Versailles, KY. He leaves 6 grandchildren, Jake & Erin Egbert, Jonathan, Connor & Colton Campbell, and Arthur Shmelev; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He is pre-deceased by his sister Ann Robinson. Terry was born in Harrodsburg to the late Carl and Ruby (Baker) Campbell. He graduated from the Harrodsburg High School Class of 1955 and completed studies at the University of Kentucky. Terry worked for several highway sign companies throughout his career notably with the former Standard Sign and Signal, Hubbel Highway Signs and William Orr & Sons. Upon retirement, he enjoyed time with the Ashford Stud Farm in Versailles. Terry was proud of his membership with the Kentucky Colonels, NRA, 8 Points Sportsmen Club. He was an avid outdoorsman & golfer, accomplished fisherman and life long hunter. Funeral services and burial will be later held in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Terry Campbell to a charity of one's choice.
