June B. France, age 79, Harrodsburg, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at her home.
Born June 10, 1933 in Mercer Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Herbert O. and Lois (Huffman) Burns. She was a retired Harlow Elementary school teacher.
Survivors include: two daughters, Peggy France of Corpus Christi, TX, and Liz Wright of Elizabethtown, KY; two grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer C.) Hall and Shane (Jennifer M.) Hall; three great grandchildren, Ciara, Cody, and Auston Hall.
Funeral services 1 PM, Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Herb Williams with burial in the Bohon Church of Christ Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Dr. Mike Lowrey, Gerald Sheperson, Kenneth Burns, Joe Harlow, Earnie Nickoson, Kevin Merideth, Bobby Reister, Bobert Schuster, and Mike Sheperson.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 20 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Memorials are suggested to the Central Kentucky Cancer Program, 217 South 3rd Street Danville, KY 40422 or the Mercer Co. Senior Citizens,1475 Louisville Road, Harrodsburg, KY 4033.
