Obituary of Bearl "Stoney" Roy

Bearl Donald "Stoney" Roy, age 60, Hustonville, died Friday, December 21, 2012, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born August 20, 1952 in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late Donald and Rose (Osborne) Roy. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a retired boiler maker and self employed logger.
Survivors include: four daughters: Cayce Thomas of Pensacola, FL, Sara McLaughlin of Fishers, IN, Nicole Joseph of Harrodsburg, Natasha Walls of Waynesburg, and one son: Benjamin Roy of Hustonville; three sisters: Ruby Ingram of Eubank, Maxine McWhorter and Tilly Chenault of Danville and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 12:00 PM, Monday, December 24 at the Harrodsburg Community Church by Terry Morrison. Burial will be on the Roy Family Farm, Hustonville.
Pallbearers are: Rob Hedrick, Tex Hounschel, Donnie Ingram, Lee Ingram, David Patterson and Tony Richards.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 23, 2012, from 5-8 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, and after 10 AM Mon. at the church. Burial on his farm in Casey County with full military honors.
