Isaac "Ike" Watts, beloved husband of Martha Cheak Watts, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013. He was born Feb. 21, 1939, in Mercer County, son of the late Isaac and Mamie Downey Watts. He was Chief Deputy Property Valuation Administrator for Jessamine County for thirty-three years. He was member of the Sulphur Well Christian Church, past president of the Jessamine Jaycees, founding member and former treasurer of Jessamine County Hospice, a coach for the Jessamine Youth Football league. Ike was a devoted family man and an avid UK Fan. Other survivors include, Daughters: Gina (Bart) Johns, Lisa (Brent) Jennings, granddaughters: Faith Jennings, Lindsay and Whitney Johns, sisters: Mildred Pugh, Hazel Stamper and Jane (Buddy) McRay, foster brother: John Gary Curtsinger and number of brother and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by siblings: Linda Berry and Jack Watts. Funeral service will be 2:30 PM Sat., Feb. 9 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, with Bros. Tyson Cummings and Robert Spurlock officiating. Visitation will be from 5-9 Friday, Feb. 8th, at the Chapel. Memorials suggested to the Sulphur Will Christian Church, c/o Tyson Cummings, 1989 St. Stephens Green, Lexington, KY 40503. Pall bearers: William Maurice Cheak, Jack Boyd Watts, Troy David Cheak, Danny Cheak, Monty McRay and Jeremy Cheak. Honorary Pall Bearers: Robert Thompson, Joe Peel, Allen "Doodle" Peel, Martin Lowry, John Robert Lowry, Shane Peel, Jimmy Estes, Ron Leach, Robert Spurlock, Linda Smith, Linda Downing, Nancy McKinney, Gracie Pennington, John Quinn, Brad Watts and Adam Brumfield.
