Obituary of James Tovey

JAMES TOVEY James Tovey, age 49, 263 Martin Lane, Harrodsburg, husband of Pam Jones Tovey, died Monday, February 9, 2004 at the Ephriam McDowell Regional Medical Center after an illness. Born December 5, 1954 in South Bend, Indiana, he was the son of Helen Schosker, Indiana and the late Albert Tovey. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and a self-employed Chef and operated Tovey’s Restaurant, formerly Stone Manor Restaurant in Harrodsburg for a period of time. Survivors besides his mother and wife include: two sons, Phillip Tovey, Indiana and Joshua Tovey, Harrodsburg; two step sons, Casey Tovey, Michigan, and Ben Smith, Harrodsburg; one step daughter Tiffany Smith, Harrodsburg; two brothers, Gary Tovey, Mississippi, and John Tovey, Indiana; two grandchildren and one step grandchild. There will be no visitation or services.
