Beulah Florence Lake, age 90, of Harrodsburg, widow of John William Payton and Garnett A. Lake, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Haggin Memorial Hospital of Harrodsburg, KY.
Born November 9, 1922 in Springfield, KY, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Emma (Curtsinger) Tingle. She was was a member of Springfield Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by: two daughters, Norma (Norman) Ryan of Harrodsburg and Marilyn Corley, Bullitt Co; two sons, Donald Payton of Tampa, FL, and Roger (Judy) Payton of Harrodsburg; one sister, Edna (J.W.) Sullivan of Lebanon; two brothers, Cleo Tingle of Louisville and Albert Tingle, Jr. of Louisville; one grandchild, twenty-three great-grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Payton, four brothers, Jimmy, Woodrow, Herman, and Hansel Tingle, and one grandchild.
The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 16 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, with Brad King officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Springfield.
Visitation will be Friday, February 15 from 5 - 8 PM at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of one's choice.
