Obituary of Ima Jean VanArsdall

Ima Jean VanArsdall, 82, Harrodsburg, widow of A. D. VanArsdall, died Friday.
Born Mar. 19, 1931 in Mackville, KY, she was the daughter of the late William Lambert and the late Stella (Cornish) Darland. She was a retired Inspector for Corning Glass and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one sister, Alma Black of TN; one brother, Leroy Darland of Harrodsburg; several nieces and nephews, including Kathy Jean (Donald) Meredith of Louisville, and Carl (Marlene) VanArsdall of Harrodsburg. She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Monday, March 25, 2013, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by James Harley. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 AM until the hour of service at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers will be: Phillipe Rocco, David Smith, Mike Underwood, Darrell Waterfield, Dallas Waterfield, and Roy Bugg.
