Alice Florence Aldridge, 86 of Harrodsburg, KY, the widow of Charles M. Aldridge, died Friday at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born in Garrard County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Ora and Sarah Frances (Upton) Florence. She was a retired Pharmacy Technician for Botner's Drug. Alice was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School Teacher, Treasurer and Choir Member. Alice is survived by: two daughters: Pamela (Richard) Koerner of Dayton, OH, and Jane (Gary) Bridgewater of Conyers, GA; Four Granddaughters: Amie (Brian) Crump, Alyson (Mark) Drumm, Sarah (Grant) Jordan and Megan Koerner; two Great sons: Landon Crump and Mason Daniel Drumm; Cousin, Jewell Ballard, Alice was preceded in death by four Sisters, Thelma Crigger, Margaret Florence, Gertrude Penn, Valerie Travis and toe Brothers, Alvin Florence, and W. C. Florence. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-7 PM at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers will be: Brian Crump, Mark Drumm, Grant Jordan, Richard Koerner, Gary Bridgewater, Dennis Ballard, Members of the Faith, Hope & Love Bible Class are to serve as Honorary Bearers. Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 am at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Eddie Russell and Wayne Spivey. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
