Peggy Roark, 76 of Harrodsburg, KY widow of Dick Roark, died Wednesday at the Kindred Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Harrodsburg. Born in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Ellis and Elizabeth (Powell) Warren.
She was owner and operator of the Fort Harrod Bookstore and Gift Shop for years.
Peggy is survived by: three daughters: Sharon(Kris) Myer of Norman, OK, Dotti Driscoll(Eddie) Burton of Harrodsburg, KY, Teri(Donnie Collins) Roark Winchester of Garrard County, seven Grandchildren, Danny Potts, Channing, Noah and Nicholas Meyer, Logan and Kendall Winchester and Morgan Colvin and three Great Grandchildren. Peggy was preceded in death by her Brother, Robert "Butch" Warren and Great Granddaughter: Gentry Potts.
Visitation will be Friday, 5 - 8 PM at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers will be: Channing Meyer, Noah Meyer, Nicholas Meyer, Danny Potts, Gary Lee Winchester and Logan Winchester. Honorary Bearers will be: Morgan Colvin, Caitlyn Potts, Jensen Potts, Kendall Winchester and Jordan Potts.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Donnie Burton. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
