Bill W. Proctor, 69, Harrodsburg, husband of Brenda Hill, died Thursday at the Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Marvin and the late Jewell (Russell) Proctor. He was a retired US Marine, having served 38 years, and was a member at Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife, Brenda Hill Proctor; a daughter, Kim Ballou of TN; two sisters, Gayle Salyers of Lexington and Vivian Jo (Cecil) Cummins of Lancaster; a step son, Brad Devine of Lexington; a step daughter, Tonia (Glen) Curtsinger, Washington Co.; sister-in-law, Margaret Ann Proctor, Harrodsburg; grandchildren, Shannon Ballou and Michael Ballou; step grandchildren, Paige Curtsinger and Chaz Curtsinger. He was preceded in death by a wife, Sandra Jane Quinn, and siblings, Cleo Proctor and Peggy Elder. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers will be: Mike Ballou, Glen Curtsinger, Brad Devine, Hobert Proctor, Peyton Carroll, Cole Mardis, Blake Mardis, Chaz Curtsinger. Honorary Bearers: Jack Herring, Coleman Russell, Red Brock, Fred Anderson, Jr. Sanders, David Quinn and David Proctor. Funeral service will be held Monday at 1:00 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Hilary Claypool and Lewis Walter. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. The family request memorial donations be sent to Wounded Warriors or Disabled American Veterans.
