Obituary of Helen Ford Davenport

Helen Davenport, 91, widow of James Donald Davenport, of Harrodsburg, KY, died Saturday at the Barren Co Health Care, Glasgow, KY. Born in Greenville, KY, she was the daughter of the late C.P. and Myrtle Allen Ford.
She was a retired Court Stenographer for Mercer County Court System. She attended Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
Helen is survived by: one daughter: Linda Russell of Lexington, KY and one son: Steve Davenport of Glasgow, KY. Grandchildren: John Russell, Kate Clevenger, Ann Thomas Moffett, Jimmy Davenport and 4 great grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her Brother, Bill Ford, and sisters: Anne Collins and Mary Jo Harrison.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers will be: Clay Clevenger, John Russell, Brandt Ford, Jim Petrey, Lee Gentry, David Brown, Allen Ford, Jim Fitzgerald, Lynnwood Chilton and David Taylor.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 3:00 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bob Defoor. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be sent to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
