BEUNA KYLER VANDIVIER
Beuna Kyler Vandivier, 87, Harrodsburg Health Care Center, formerly of 615 East Factory, widow of Garnett E. Vandivier, died Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at the health care center.
Born April 12, 1916 in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Royal and Ova Tyler Kyler. She was a retired seamstress at the former Sportleigh Hall then Cricketeer Manufacturing Corporation in Harrodsburg and at Jonathan Logan in Burgin. She was also a member of the Mercer County Senior Citizens, enjoyed doing crafts and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Deakle, Nicholasville, Sharon Myers, Lexington, and Linda Sue Vandivier, Harrodsburg; one sister, Gladys Ransdell, Erlanger; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Bobby G. Vandivier.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, March 5th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Dr. Robert DeFoor, burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Donald, J.W., Kermit, Bill, and Harold D. Logue, and Mike Vandivier.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 pm Thursday and after 7:30 am Friday at the chapel.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association, 1941 Bishop Lane, Suite 110, Louisville, KY 40218 or to the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, 312 South Main Street, Harrodsburg, KY.
