Obituary of Pauline "Granny" Logue

Pauline "Granny" Logue, 96, widow of Howard T. "Hot Shot" Logue, died Sunday at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY. Born April 14, 1917, in Marion Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Edd and Lillie (Miller) Hardin. She was a lifelong homemaker and was the oldest member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include: five daughters, Mary Lillie Rearic of Danville, Daisy James, Betty Violet Darland, Rose (Larry) Matherly, and Iris Jane (Harry) Wiley, all of Harrodsburg; three sons, Donald Logue, Robert (Joyce) Logue, and Buddy Logue, all of Harrodsburg; one brother, Reuben (Susan) Hardin of Lexington; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Logue of Harrodsburg; 28 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Howard Lynn & Terry Logue, two granddaughters, and one great grandson. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday at the Deep Creek Baptist Church by Hilary Claypool, E.T. Priddy, Nelson Reynolds and Bobby Logue. Burial will follow in the Deep Creek Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Tuesday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, and after 12 noon Wednesday at the church. Pallbearers will be: Mike Lewis, Robert Logue, Todd Darland, Howard Lynn Logue Jr., Isaac Matherly, Travis Logue, Gabriel Logue, and Brian Wiley. Honorary bearers are grandchildren. The family request memorial donations be sent to Gideon Bible Fund or Deep Creek Baptist Church.
