Obituary of Adrain Allen Anderson

Adrain Allen Anderson, 89, Harrodsburg, widower of Elizabeth Dean Frederick, died Tuesday (Sept. 17, 2013) at his home. Born in Nicholas County, he was the son of the late Lute and Julie Ockerman Anderson. He was an Army Veteran of WW II and a life member of the VFW and American Legion. Adrain was a retired farmer and member of the Carlisle 1st. Christian Church.
He is survived by: three daughters: Paulette Stivers (Robert) Bishop of Harrodsburg, Gilda A. (Marcus) Daly of London, Rhoda Lee (Ralph Coulter) Conley of Hustonville, and three sisters: Ruby Trussell, Carrie Anderson, and Sally Anderson all of Paris. and three brothers: Samuel Anderson of Crestwood, Raymond Anderson of Carlisle, and Billy Anderson of Burnside, eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. He was predeceased by a son, Wendell M. Anderson, two brothers, James & Lloyd Anderson, and two sisters, Thelma McCord & Lizzie Mae Livingood
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 - 8 PM at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg with services 1:00 pm Friday with Marcus Daly, Jr. and Don Stivers officiating. Burial will follow in the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens with military honors. Casket bearers: Wendell Anderson, II., Ardain Anderson, II., Paul A. Daly, William Gervacio, Travis Stivers, Brandon Stivers, Anthony Paul Paternoster. Honorary bearers: Granddaughters and great grandchildren.
