Obituary of Lola Mae Cannon

Lola Mae Cannon, 97, Harrodsburg, widow of J.C. Cannon, died Thursday, September 26, 2013, in Harrodsburg, KY. Born December 7, 1915, in Mackville, KY, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Sarah Ellen Votaw.
She was a retired Nurse's Aide for Haggin Hospital and was a Charter Member at Harrodsburg Church of Christ.
Lola is survived by: Foster daughter: Janet Baker of Stanford, KY; Nieces And Nephews: Mildred Baker, Melvin Votaw, Pauline Elder, Brenda Blakeman, Carroll Semones, Doris Baker, Don Gene Votaw, Maurice Votaw, Glenda Votaw and Tommy Semones. Great Nieces and Nephews including: Michael Semones, Jamie White, Joy Baker and LeCarole Vanoy. Lola was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Ann Cannon.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers will be: Mark Baker, Brian Vanoy, Michael Semones, Toby White, Gary Bradshaw and Richard Watts. Honorary Bearers: Genie Sims, Chester Gabhart, Buddy Shirley, Bob Bishop and Archie Woodrum.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 am at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Donald Gene Votaw and Keith Greer. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
The family request memorial donations be sent to a memorial of one's choice or Heritage Hospice, P.O. Box 1213, Danville, KY 40422.
