Shirley Jean Hooper, 55, Harrodsburg, wife of Kenneth "Kenny" Hooper, died Friday.
Born June 28, 1958 in Danville, KY, she was the daughter of the late William Taylor and Nellie Christine (Griffin) Tate. She was a retired Administrative Asst. for Bluegrass Head Start and was a member of Southside Christian Church
Survivors other than her husband include: two children, Shanna Turner, Danville, and Travis Hooper, Harrodsburg; one step child, Angie Taulbee, Lawrenceburg; one brother, Ricky Tate, Harrodsburg; one grandchild, Kane Burris;two step-grandchildren, Kassie Gregory and Andrew Taulbee.
Services 1 PM Tues., Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Larry Moore with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation 5 - 8 PM Mon., Ransdell's.
