BLANCHE GLEN HAYES HURST
Blanche Glen Hayes Hurst, 90, 478 Cornishville Street, widow of Ben C. Hurst, died Friday, March 05, 2004 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born December 17, 1913 in Grafton, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Minnie Hopkins Hayes. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include: three sons, Joe and his wife Ruby Hurst, Martin and his wife Peggy Hurst, and Condit and his wife Judy Hurst, all of Harrodsburg; a sister Mildred Black, Harrodsburg; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother John Henry Hayes and a half brother, Bert Hayes.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, March 8th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John David Lane. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers are: Joe, Martin, Condit, Paula, Brandon, and Brad Hurst.
Visitation will be after 6:00 pm Sunday and after 7:30 am Monday at the chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to the local American Cancer Society, Post Office Box 102, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
