Obituary of Addie New Worley

ADDIE “NEW” WORLEY Addie “New” Worley, age 83, Holywood Drive, Lexington, widow of Othor L. Worley, died Thursday, March 10th at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. Born on October 8, 1920 in Wayne Co. Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Samuel T. and Laura Black New. She was a homemaker, a clerk for Superior Food Mart in Burgin for several years and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Survivors include: a son Fred L. Worley, Harrodsburg; three brothers, Lester New, West Harrison, IN, Carl New, Muncie, Indiana, Cecil New, Louisville; two sisters, Ethel Coffey, Mt. Sterling and Geneva Kidd, Logansport, Indian; four grandchildren Julie Butcher, Randy Worley, Diana Heck and Rick Worley; one adopted grandchild, Allison Connelly, her caregiver, Mary Ann Jackson and 10 great grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, March 13th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Douglas Wesley. Burial will be in the Hickman Cemetery in Whitley City, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 5 until 8:30 pm Friday and after 7:30 am Saturday morning at the chapel.
