Obituary of Oldran Curtis Bailey

Oldran "Curtis" Bailey, 88, Harrodsburg, KY, widower of Jane Katherine Lear, died Saturday at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.
Born July 31, 1926, in Harrodsburg, to the late Raymond Jordan and Cassie (Story-Powell) Bailey. He served in the Army during World War II, receiving a Purple Heart. He was a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans and retired as a Planning Scheduling Supervisor at Corning Glass.
Curtis is survived by: a son, David (Margaret) Bailey of Danville; one brother, Ronnie Bailey of Harrodsburg; a grandson, Curt (Ashley) Bailey; a granddaughter, Katie (Johnathan) Regester; a great grandson, James Tucker Bailey.
Visitation will be 5-8 pm Monday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers will be: Curt Bailey, Ronnie Bailey, Donald Bailey, Chris Coffman, Rice Lear, Johnathan Regester. Honorary bearers will be the Burgin Christian Church Choir Members.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Josh Snyder. Burial with military rites will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
