Obituary of William "Truman" Curtsinger

William Truman Curtsinger, 83, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Loretta Devine, died Sunday, October 5, 2014, at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg. Born May 16, 1931, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Ezra and the late Hattie (Sims) Curtsinger. He was a 50 year member of the Pioneer Baptist Church, a retired Corning Glass employee. He also was a real estate broker with Hurst Realty and later with Sexton Realty for several years. Mr. Curtsinger was a Army veteran of the Korean war. Other survivors include one son: Brent (Wanda) Curtsinger of Harrodsburg, three grandchildren: Jason Curtsinger; Misty Edwards, Stuart (Emma) Warren; two great grandchildren: Jackson Edwards and Truman Jase Bartleson; two nieces, and two nephews. He was predeceased by a sister: Martha Satterly and two brothers, H. C. & Odell Curtsinger. Funeral services 2:00 PM Wed. with visitation 5 - 8 PM Tues. at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers: Jason Curtsinger, Stuart Warren, Jerel Coffey, Ronnie Sims, , Dale Cinnamon, David Cinnamon, Harry Harmon, Charlie Mattingly. Honorary bearer: Jimmy Sexton, Chris Satterly, C. J. Curtsinger, Donnie Sims, Richard Dartt, John Gumm and Jim Fuss. Memorials are suggested to: Alzheimer's Association, 801 S. Limestone, Suite E, Lexington, KY 40508-4048.
