Obituary of Edward Thomas Graham, Jr.

Edward Thomas Graham Jr., 54, of Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Tom was born on the 1st of November 1960 to Edward Thomas Graham Sr. and Sevilla Moore Graham. To those who were fortunate enough to know Tom Graham, he was one of the gentlest souls we met, and one of the most complex. One could know Tom for years and still know only a corner of the amazing man he was. He was a gentleman - well educated, well read, well traveled, and well rounded. A true renaissance man, his interests ran into the corners of everything. He was a graduate of Mercer County High School before attending the University of Kentucky where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and his Master of Arts in Library Sciences. He also held degrees in Computer Science. Tom served for several years as a librarian at Alice Lloyd College and was a firefighter on the Pippa Passes Volunteer Fire Department. One could go hardly anywhere with Tom without running into some of his friends, because Tom had friends everywhere, and they were as varied and colorful as Tom himself, whether they shared his passions for history, literature, philosophy, culture, politics, or cuisine. He leaves behind an aunt, cousins, and countless friends. He will be missed. Service and interment will be held at Spring Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg, Kentucky at 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 9th.
