Lala Moore, 88, Salvisa, KY, widow of George Omer Moore, died Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the Heritage Hall Care Ctr., Lawrenceburg, KY. Born June 25, 1926, in Lawrenceburg, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Zelma Gritton Jeffries.
She was a retired Salvisa Postmaster and a member of Salvisa Christian Church.
Lala is survived by: one son: Omer (Carrie) Wayne Moore of Salvisa, KY; Nephew: David (Paula) G. Fallis of Frankfort, KY; Grandchildren: Jessica Moore, Stephanie Harley, Bryn Fallis, Kayla Fallis, Jordan Harley, Kody Harley, Ashley Harley; 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Visitation will be Friday, October 10, from 5-8pm at Salvisa Christian Church.
Pallbearers will be: Bryn Fallis, Larry Stopher, Ronnie Broce, David Brown, Kody Harley and Jeff Sanders.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at Salvisa Christian Church by Vicky Ray. Burial will follow in the Kirkwood Cemetery, Salvisa.
The family request memorial donations be sent to Salvisa Christian Church.
