Obituary of Jimmy Darel Gamble

Jimmy Darel Gamble, 67, Salvisa, KY, died Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at the V. A. Medical Center in Lexington. Born June 29, 1947, in Letcher County, he was the son of the late Andrew and the late Emmajean (Combs) Gamble.
Jimmy was a Army veteran of the Korean war and a retired self employed handyman.
Survivors include a daughter: Debbie Gamble (Melissa Pero) of Lexington, and a son: John W.(Heidi) Gamble of Kingsland, GA; two sisters: Linda Burus of Lawrenceburg, and Ozella Hundley of Lotts Creek, KY and two brothers: Larry Gamble of Lotts Creek, Gary Gamble of Harrodsburg, he also has four grandchildren: Wesley Gamble, John A. Gamble, Evan J. Pero-Gamble and Tegan Pero-Gamble.
Visitation will be 10 am Saturday November 22 leading up to 11am Memorial services at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
The family has requested memorial donations be directed towards the V.A Hospice Unit Leestown, 1101 Veterans Drive, Lexington, KY 40502
