Mrs. Gravely was by far one of my favorite teachers. I still think of her and all of the wonderful stories and bits of historical trivia she shared in her class. Because of her, I learned to love to conjugate sentences! She was a special lady.

William and Nancy-
Our sympathy to you for the loss of Mrs. Mitchell. She was such an important part of Harrodsburg.
Tom remembers as a kid going to her family's house to watch the first TV in Harrodsburg. He says it was a little round screen and he remembers watching an afternoon variety show with Don Ameche. Captain Video came on after that. He said the rocket was made of cardboard but he really looked forward to it. It was sponsored by Teaberry gum. Just a small happy memory to file away about your mom.
