Catherine Frances Divine, 92, Harrodsburg, KY, widow of William H. Divine, died Sunday, November 16, 2014, at her home.
Born June 4, 1922, in Mercer Co., she was the daughter of the late Charles H. Sr. and Rosie (Carr) Baker. She was a member of the Southside Christian Church and was a retired Inspector for Corning Inc.
Survivors include: one daughter, Patricia (Gary) Lay of Harrodsburg; one sister, Barbara Logue of Harrodsburg; one brother, Maurice Baker of Harrodsburg; four grandchildren, Matthew (Rebecca) Carmichael, Lora (Jerry) White, Justin (Talisa) Lay, and Brandon (Amanda Goodlett) Lay; nine great and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death five siblings, Charles Baker Jr., Mary Caton, Estelle Baker, Margaret Curtsinger, and Lettie McCroskey.
Funeral services 2:30 PM Wed., Nov. 19, 2014, Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Matthew Robbins. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation 5-8 PM Tue., chapel.
Pallbearers: Dillon Carmichael, Logan and Myles Hill, Zachary Lay, Jerry White, and Jon Sanders. Honorary bearers: Jerry Dale Freeman, Marvin (Bubby) Isham, Bobby Jack Baker, Brent Logue and Charlotte Guthrie.
