MARJORIE DOTSON GREEN

Marjorie Dotson Green, age 86, Chippewa Drive, wife of William Aubrey Green, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at the Ephriam McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born August 1, 1916 in Woodford County, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Maggie Tilghman Dotson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Salvisa Methodist Church.

Survivors other than her husband include: three sons, Donald and his wife Mary Ann Green, Harrodsburg, Wayne and his wife Linda Green, Lexington, and Frank and Dee Green, Lawrenceburg; four daughters, Gaye and her husband Darrell Brock, Harrodsburg, Betty Ann and her husband Jackie Royalty, Lexington, Lois and her husband Tommy Logue, Harrodsburg, and Patty G. Green, Lawrenceburg; one brother, Hugh Dotson, Lawrenceburg; fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, March 27th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Jason Clark and Danny Wiley. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Louis Sea, Danny Brock, Kevin Royalty, Dale Logue, Bobby Turner, Monty McRay and Steve Sims.

Visitation will be after 5:00 pm Friday and after 7:30 am Saturday at the chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Salvisa Methodist Church, 305 Main Street, Salvisa, KY 40372.
