Charles Edward Haydon, 82, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Patricia Camic Haydon, died Tue., Dec. 30, 2014, at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg. Born Sept. 19, 1932, in Woodford Co., he was the son of the late Charles H and Amie (Strange) Haydon. He was a retired IBM employee, Army Veteran of the Korean War, and was a member of the Clover Bottom Baptist Church, Versailles, KY. Other survivors: three daughters, Amy (Mike) Turner, Versailles, Charlene Haydon, Versailles, Pamela (Ray) Paulin, Winston Salem, NC; two grandchildren, Cassie Ellen Paulin and Haylie Jane Paulin; three step sons, Richard, Barry, and Mark Proctor, Lexington, several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a wife, Jane Ellen Haydon, a daughter, Sally Ann Haydon, a sister, Jane Johnson, and a step son, Paul A. Proctor. Funeral services 10 AM Sat., Jan. 3, 2015, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, by Don Reed and Hilary Claypool. Burial will follow in Versailles Cemetery, Versailles, KY. Visit. 5-8 PM Fri., Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers: Ray Paulin, Mike Turner, Larry Camic, Johnathan Watts, Earl Camic and George Camic.
