Barbara Faye Sallee, 85, of S. College St., Harrodsburg, died Tues., Jan 13, 2014 at her home. Born June 22, 1929, to the late George and Pearl Cassity Haddix. She was a retired Housekeeping Supervisor for Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill and was a member of the Carpenter's Christian Church. Survivors include: three children, Tommy (Cindy) Sallee, Harrodsburg, Rodney (Cathy) Sallee, Nicholasville, and Sheila (Max) Clark, Harrodsburg; one daughter-in-law, Alesia Sallee, Lancaster; one brother, Roy Haddix, Harrodsburg; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Sallee, a grandson, Matthew Clark, and six siblings, Kenneth, George and Leeland Haddix, Rita Smith, Carolyn Joyce Neal and Ruth Carol Haddix. Services 3 PM Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, at the Carpenter's Christian Church, Harrodsburg, by Greg Warren and David Collier. Visit. 5-8 PM Thurs., at Carpenter's. Pallbearers are: Aaron, Adam, Drew, and Nathaniel Sallee, Larry D. Camic, and Maurice Baker. Honorary bearers are: Bridgette McIlwaine, Laresa, Diandra, and Kirsten Sallee, Gwendolyn Clark, and Courtney Lemay.
