Wilgus Thomas Hayden, 69, died Thursday; March 12 at his home in Harrodsburg. Born December 8, 1945, in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Bernett Alfred and Lillian E. (Harvey) Hayden.
He worked maintenance for Bright Leaf Golf Resort and was a member of the Little Zion Baptist Church.
Thomas is survived by: two daughters: Angela Hayden of Harrodsburg, Mariyah Sallee of Harrodsburg, and four sons: Wilgus Thomas Hayden, Jr. of Lexington, Tommy McKinzie of CA, Antonio Chenault and Alex Derringer, both of Harrodsburg; two sisters: Lillian Hernandez and Lucille Hayden of Harrodsburg and Seven Grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 11-1 leading to the Funeral service at 1:00 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Orlando Remont Mays. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
