Roxie L. Jackson, 84, Harrodsburg, widow of Maurice F. Jackson, died Tuesday at the Saint Joseph Hospital, Lexington. Born February 22,1931, in Washington County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Hollis Mobley and Gladys (Perkins) Mobley Morris. She was a Corning Glass employee and a member of the Harrodsburg United Presbyterian Church. Roxie is survived by: one daughter: Denna J. Daugherty of Harrodsburg, and one son: Steven (Janice) Jackson of Richmond, one brother: Donnie (Barbara) Mobley of FL, Three Grand Children, Misty Curtsinger, Jason Curtsinger and Nick (Maddison) Jackson; and Three Great Grandchildren, Jackson Edwards, Weston Jackson and Truman Jase Bartleson. Roxie was preceded in death by her Brothers, Curtis & Aaron Mobley Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers will be: Jay Mobley, David Mobley, Brent Curtsinger, Danny Jackson, Wayne Jackson, Logan Galloway, Cody Mobley, Carroll Perkins, Junior Mobley and Donnie Coulter. Funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bert Eyster and Ricky Catlett. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. The family request memorial donations be sent to Harrodsburg United Presbyterian Church, 326 South Main Street, Harrodsburg, KY 40330 or Salvation Army, 519 S 4th St, Danville, KY 40422.
