Eileen Ethington Sallee, 87, Harrodsburg, wife of R. L. Sallee, died Monday at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born December 11,1927, in Newcastle, WA , she was the daughter of the late Ralph Carl and Hazel Ione Syverson Trover.
Other survivors include: daughters: Carolyn (Richard) Herrera of Oceanside, CA, Patricia (Mickey) Pitt of Loveland, CO, Pamela Bell of Loveland, CO, Susan (John) Brown of Des Moines, IA, and Anita (Ricardo) Moreno of St Louis, MO; Daughter-in-law, Susan Ethington of Riverton, UT; Twenty-three grandchildren, Thirty-two great grandchildren. Eileen was preceded in death by her first husband: Theodore Ethington, a son: Wayne Ethington, a daughter: Linda Hill.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 - 8 PM at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00 am at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with Bishop Jim Bradshaw officiating, burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Park, Lexington.
Pallbearers: Adam Ethington, Ted Ethington, T. J. Brown, Bryan Pitt, Ricardo Moreno, John Brown, Mike Smith and Brian Fabrizius.
