Bessie Allen, 82, Harrodsburg, KY, died Saturday, June 6, 2015, at home. Born December 9, 1932, in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Ollie Doyle Allen.
Survivors include two daughters: Loretta Claunch of Harrodsburg, Margie Terry Cornish of Washington Co., and one son: William Goble Bishop of Lexington, several grandchildren and a number of great and great-great grandchildren, and a special companion, Carl "Jack" Heath. She is predeceased by a daughter, Nancy Pearl Kidd and two sons, Jerry Allen Bishop and J. F. Bishop, a sister, Daisy Marcum and a brother, Preston Allen.
Funeral services 1:00 pm Tuesday, 06/09/2015 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Donnie Irvin. Burial to follow in Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa, KY. Visitation from 5-8 pm Monday.
