DOROTHY LOUISE TATUM Dorothy Louise Tatum, 79, Haggin Memorial Hospital – Extended Care Center, widow of Marvin Tatum, died Friday, April 9, 2004 at the extended care center. Born December 19, 1924 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Wess and Desda Stratton Parsons. She was a long time secretary and bookkeeper for the Freeman Auction Company in Harrodsburg, a member of the Harrodsburg Order of Eastern Star # 309 for fifty years, and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church. Survivors include: two sisters, Myrtle P. Cornelius and Gertrude Sheegog, both of Harrodsburg and several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon, Monday, April 12th at the Springhill Cemetery by Dr. Robert DeFoor. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 11:00 am Monday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Harrodsburg Baptist Church Music Program or to the Order of Eastern Star in care of Joyce C. Sanders, 750 McBrayer Drive, Harrodsburg, KY.
