Connie Eugene Watts, 70, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of 43 years to Joan Elliott Watts, died Wed., Aug. 12, 2015.
Born Feb. 13, 1945, in Mercer Co., he was the son of the late Nelson and Eula Ray (Maddox) Watts. He was a retired mechanic and was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.
Other survivors: two sisters, Delois Sims, Harrodsburg, and Beulah Moss, Elizabethtown; : grandson and special caregiver, Michael Paul Huffman, Harrodsburg; one great grandson, Mason Paul Huffman; two step daughters Angie McCall, Garrard Co., and Diane Shropshire, Georgetwon; two step sons; seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel Haston Watts and Franklin Hunter Watts.
Funeral services 1 PM Mon., Aug. 17, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Derek Baker. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Sun., Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers are Jim and Eddie Sanford, Tommy and Nick Goodlett, Kelly and Roy Bugg.
