EARL G. MOORE, JR. Earl G. Moore, Jr., 69, Louisville Road, husband of Christa Lois Johnson Moore, died Sunday, April 18, 2004 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. Born March 9, 1935 in Woodford County, he was the son of the late Earl Griggs and Enola Foley Moore. He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, a member of the Mercer Co. Farm Bureau, and a member and deacon of the Carpenter’s Christian Church of Harrodsburg. Survivors besides his wife include: three daughters, Lori M. Mendoza, Lexington. Lisa Ellen and her husband Jimmy “Yogi” Yeager, Salvisa, and Lucinda and her husband Shane Travillian, Harrodsburg; one sister Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) Hays, Pearland, Texas; seven grandchildren, Nickie Yeager, Buddy Yeager, Danni Yeager, Staci Yeager, Jason Logue, Jesse Logue, and Ryan Mendoza, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 21st at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Greg Warren and Don Hill. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery. Pallbearers are: William Earl Yeager, Jason and Jesse Logue, Walter Wayne, Bruce Noel,Charles Hays, Hershel Votaw, and Maurice Baker. Honorary bearers are Glen Devine, Hughes Jones, Marion Ray Inman, Larry Camic, Ed Moore, Ed Moore, Jr., Russell Foley and The Spirit Lifters. Visitation will be after 5:00 pm Tuesday and after 7:30 am Wednesday at the chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Carpenter’s Christian Church Building Fund.
