Velma Louise Chadwick, 90, Harrodsburg, died Friday, November 20, 2015, at the Homestead Nursing Home, Lexington. Born June 18, 1925, in Livingstion County, KY, she was the daughter of the late John and Mattie Greene Waddy. She was the widow of Noble K. Chadwick.
Survivors include one daughter: Wanda Faye Chadwick of Davenport, FL and two sons: Dale (Karen M.) Chadwick of Harrodsburg, Danny (Karen S.) Chadwick of Orlando, FL; three sisters: Betty Babb of Burna, KY, Bertha Fires of Reidland, KY, and Marie Lillis of Torance, CA; six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Velma is predeceased by two sister: Mamie Blackwell and Clara Turner and two brothers: Joe and J.W. "Pete" Waddy.
Visitation will be 5-7 PM Monday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, and after 12 noon CST Tuesday at the Glendale Road Church of Christ, Murray, KY with the service at 2 PM.
Memorials are suggested to: Sanders - Brown Center for the Aging or One's Favorite Charity.
