Walter Robert "Bobby" Parsons, 76, Harrodsburg, died Sunday, November 29, 2015, at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg. Born April 4, 1939, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Hollie and Faye (Gibson) Parson. Bobby was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he was a retired floral designer and Corning Inc. employee, and was a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church where he served as deacon. Survivors include; his spouse, Darrell Dickerson, Harrodsburg; one sister, Barbara Jane Isham, Harrodsburg; one niece, Robin Lynn Lewis, Harrodsburg; one aunt, Arthalina Leonard, Harrodsburg; several cousins. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Maj. Hollis DeWayne Isham, and a sister, Peggy Lewis. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tues., Dec. 1, 2015, at the Harrodsburg Christian Church, by Mego Haralu and Phil Williams. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be Tues. from 11 AM until the hour of service at the church. Pallbearers are Charles Newton, Johnny Curtis, Will Look, Kevin Perkins, Scott Moseley, and Robert Preston. Honorary bearers will be Deacons Of Harrodsburg Christian Church.
