Gerald "Jerry" Gibson Coleman, 69, Harrodsburg, husband of Glenda Watts Coleman, Harrodsburg, died Sunday, November 29, 2015, at his home. Born October 3, 1946, in Lexington, KY, he was the son of the late Roland and Ruby (Penrod) Coleman. Jerry was a retired supervisor having worked at Modine and IBM. He was also an Army veteran, and member of the Central Baptist Church, Lexington. Other survivors include: three daughters, Mara Beth (Chris) Mischel of Lexington, Sharon Rene (Marty) Chesser of Harrodsburg, and Angela Rae Lohman of Mayesville; one son, Jerry Wayne (Jessica) Coleman of Georgetown; one sister, Sonja Deaton of Franklin; two brothers, Donald Ray Coleman and David Eugene Coleman, both of Lexington; seven grandchildren. Funeral services 1 PM Thurs., Dec. 3, 2015, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John Watts. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation 5-8 pm Wed., Ransdell's. Pallbearers are Charlie Carpenter, Travis Lanham, Jerry Lee Winchester, Jerry Winchester, Chad Beasley, and Mike Morgan. Honorary bearers are Chester Hicks, Terry Hagen and Larry Davis.
