Boliver Daniel "Sonny" Carroll, 98, Harrodsburg, died Thursday, December 10, 2015, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.
Born March 3, 1917, in Jessamine Co., he was the son of the late Boliver C. and Julia Ann Shyrock Carroll. He was a retired Supervisor for the Jessamine Co. Road Dept., and was a member of the Pioneer Baptist Church, Harrodsburg. Sonny enjoyed music, gardening, and dancing.
Survivors include: one daughter, Patsy Lynn (Willard) Scott of Nicholasville; two sisters, Helen C. Strange and Marie C. Jordan, both of Nicholasville; two grandchildren, Debbie Grubb and Willard Scott, Jr.; three great grandchildren, Keaton Grubb, Trey Scott, and Kelsie Evans; one great-great grandchild, Harper Evans; a special companion, Nancy Baker of Harrodsburg and her sister Lou Butler.
Services 2 PM Tues., Dec. 15, 2015, Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bobby Becknell. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation 12 Noon Tuesday, Ransdell's.
Pallbearers: Sam Clark, Mike Carroll, Roosevelt Blackford, Darian & Mitch Garrett, and Aaron Jordan. Honorary: Wayne Becknell, Barry Jordan, Bill Hobbs, Ronnie Carroll, William Thompson, Jeff Carroll, Carl Corman, and Coleman Tudor,.
