ARGO DEAN
Argo Dean, age 86, Cooke Avenue, Harrodsburg, widower of Martha Hardin Dean, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
Born May 29, 1917 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Marshall and Minnie Woods Dean. He was a retired farmer, a US Army Veteran of WWII, a member of the American Legion and a member of the Bohon Christian Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Nora Gayle Dean, Harrodsburg and Phyllis Ann Devine, Harrodsburg; one brother James Osborne Dean, Harrodsburg; two grandchildren, Scott and Cindy Devine. He was preceded in death by a son, Argo Harrison Dean.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, April 29th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Dr. J.B. Gilliam. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery with military rites.
Pallbearers are: Scott Devine, Allen Hardin, Louis Dean, Lynn Logue, Ed. King, Fred Anderson, and Larry Wilham.
Visitation will be after 6:00 pm Wednesday and after 7:30 am Thursday at the chapel.
