Sandra, I, and daughter Jolene are so very sorry and saddened. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy for your loss. Gordie was a special member and friend to all of us in the Bluegrass Dive Club. When I first joined he made me feel welcome and even put me up in his condo on my first dive trip. We had some great times on those trips and Gordie made it so. He will be missed very much.

On behalf of the Bluegrass Dive Club in Lexington, Kentucky, we offer our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Gordon. He was a very active member of our club participating in a number of dive trips every year. Most recently Gordon was with the club on our Philippines dive trip just over a week ago. He posted many fine pictures of this trip on Facebook so we can take some small comfort in knowing that Gordon was able to enjoy life right up to the end. Gordon will be greatly missed.
