James L. "Jimmy" Maddox, Jr., 55, Harrodsburg, husband of Melissa Ann "Missy" Hamlin Maddox, Harrodsburg, died Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born April 15, 1960, in Mercer Co., he was the son of James L. and Mildred (Stopher) Maddox Sr., Harrodsburg. Jimmy was a member of the Mayo Christian Church and worked in Quality Control for General Cable Co., Lawrenceburg. Other survivors include: three sons, Dustin (Sky) Maddox, Hagan Maddox, and Eli Maddox, all of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Shirley (Mike) Hazelton of PA, and Rosalie (Omer) Drury of Harrodsburg; one brother, Gary Maddox of Harrodsburg; three grandchildren, Kamron and Khloe Maddox, and Blake Smith. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Darrin and Steve Maddox. Funeral services 11 AM Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Mike Hazelton and Ronnie Ping. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation 5-8 PM Sunday, Ransdell's. Pallbearers are Dustin, Hagan, & Eli Maddox, Chad Henninger, Timmy Sanders, and Bobby Prather. Honorary bearers are Kamron & Khloe Maddox and Blake Smith. Memorials suggested to the ALS Assoc. KY Chapter, 2815 Amsterdam Rd., Villa Hills, KY 41017.
