Hunter Lee Coleman, Jr., 68, Harrodsburg, KY, died Monday, March 14, 2016, at the Lee Memorial Health Park, Ft. Myers, FL. Born August 1, 1947, in Mercer Co., he was the son of the late Hunter L. Coleman Sr. and the late Bonnie Elerd Coleman (Buck) Blankenship. He was former co-owner of Coleman Lumber Yard, was a draftsman, and most recently was a retired Project Manager for Rousey Drywall. Hunter was also a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, the American Legion, and the VFW. Survivors include two daughters: Springe (Randy) Bugg, and Lee Hunter Coleman Rice both of Harrodsburg; one sister, Lynda Coleman Herndon of Harrodsburg; three grandchildren, Treyci Ellis Rice, Ashlee Hunter Rice, and Brendan Hunter Coleman; step sister, Helen King of Harrodsburg; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Hunter Lee "Trey" Coleman III. Funeral services 2:30 PM Sunday, March 20, 2016, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John McDaniel and Tony Smith. Burial with full military rites will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Saturday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Memorials are suggested to: Gideon Bible Fund, Wounded Warriors or King Middle School Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
