Leonard R. Prather, 92, Louisville Road, Harrodsburg, died Monday, May 3, 2004 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born March 10, 1912 in Pulaski County, KY, he was the son of the late Daniel and Flora Merrick Prather. He was a retired farmer and member of the Salvisa Baptist Church. Survivors include: three sons, Lee Prather, Robert and his wife Marcella Prather, both of Harrodsburg and Tim Prather, Liberty; one daughter Pauline and her husband Donnie Tyler, Harrodsburg; two sisters, Clarice Brock, Mercer County and Velma Albertson, Lafayette, IN; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two sons, Curtis and Joe Prather, three brothers, Herman, Perry, and Grover Prather and two sisters, Elva Barker and Elsie Daulton. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, May 6th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bro. Jerel Coffey. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Don and Norman Barker, Russell and Darrell Brock, Bobby, and Ernie Prather, Darrell Agee, and Jeff Young. Honorary bearers will be grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm Wednesday and after 7:30 am Thursday at the chapel.
