Obituary of Donald Young

Donald Young, 76, Harrodsburg, KY, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born March 27, 1940, in Mercer Co., he was the son of the late John Elliott Young and the late Alma Louise (Tatum) Gabhart. He was a retired E.W. Brown Power Plant employee, was a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church, and was a veteran of the US Air Force. Donald was also a member of the American Numismatic Assn., Central States Numismatic Assn, Token & Metal Society, International Soc. Of Silver Art Collectors, and the KY Numismatic Assn. Survivors include: one brother, Mitchell Gabhart of Lexington; several cousins. Funeral services 1PM Sat., April 2, 2016, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, with military rites. Visitation 10AM until the hour of service, Saturday. Pallbearers: Clarence Greene, Ron Kratzwald, Scott Kratzwald, Kristen Kratzwald and Nicholas Greene.
