Obituary of Janet Austin King

Janet Austin King, 83, Burgin, widow of Louis Elmer King, died Tuesday at her home. Born December 23, 1932, in Chicago, IL, to the late Eugene and Marie (Shape) Austin.
She was a retired Registered Nurse and worked for James B. Haggin and Ephraim McDowell Hospitals. Janet was a member of the Burgin Baptist Church.
She is survived by: two daughters: Carol (Jim) McAskill of Lexington, Vicki (Scott) Woford of Burgin, and one son: Bradley King of Burgin, seven grand children, six great grandchildren. Janet was preceded in death by a daughter: Kimberly Woford and brother: Harry Austin.
Visitation will be from Noon-2pm Saturday; April 9 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, and will lead up to the Graveside Services at 2 pm conducted by Odis Clark in the Burgin Memorial Garden.
Pallbearers are: George Woford, Steve Baysinger, Chris McAskill, Jamie McAskill, Bradley Woford and Jim McAskil. Honorary Bearers are: Camdon Woford, Clayton Woford, Russell Harris and Robin Harris.
The family request memorial donations be sent to Kentucky Nurses Association 305 Townepark Circle, Suite 100, Louisville, KY 40243.
