Obituary of Nellie Jo Mayes

Nellie Jo Mayes, 76, Harrodsburg, wife of Carlton Mayes, died Thursday, May 5, 2016, at the Charleston Health Care Center, Danville.
Born November 2, 1939, in Woodford Co., she was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Elizabeth (Beatley) Eaves. She was retired having worked at Jonathan Logan, Cricketeer Mfg., Trim Masters, and Harrodsburg Healthcare. Nellie was a member of the Mackville Methodist Church.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Sally Jo Miller of Harrodsburg; two sons, Richard Carlton (Flashia) Mayes of Frankfort, and William "Billy" Ray Mayes of Versailles; one brother, Ronnie Eaves of Versailles; two grandchildren, Laura Elizabeth Mayes and Olivia Grace Miller.
Funeral services will be 11AM Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Monday at Ransdell's.
